About these courses

The informal events listed here are not certified or approved by the Bach Centre, so we make no guarantee as to their quality. Bach Centre-approved courses are listed on a separate page.

Most informal courses are organised and taught by independent teachers. Some are open to beginners; others assume a good general knowledge of the remedies; a few may be for practitioners only.

Booking is direct with the course provider, and is subject to the provider's terms and conditions. Cancellation fees may apply.

Australia

  • Amanda Warner BFRAP, a qualified companion animal behaviourist and veterinary nurse, teaches weekend animal interest courses in New Zealand and Australia. Amanda draws on the latest research into animal behaviour to show how to use Bach remedies more effectively with your animals.   • Formed in January 2014, the Vancouver Bach Flower Practitioner-Users Support Group aims to meet monthly in North Vancouver, British Colombia. Open to anyone who knows the remedies fairly well and has used them on themselves or others - so that includes practitioners, Level 1 students and people who are self taught. Japan

  • Four BIEP trainers in Japan have started a Bach Circle that meets once a month in Tokyo. The meetings are open to students on any Bach Centre-approved course, and anybody else with a good working knowledge of Dr Bach's system. The group is called Olea Flora - and you can find out more about them on their blog.
  • BFRP Kansai is a regional Bach friendly group of BFRPs, students and interested people that started up in 2016. The group discusses the remedies, shares experiences and shares readings from books. The plan is to meet once a month. For more information contact Miyuki Shinomiya.
  • BFRP Tokai is a regional Bach friendly group covering the prefectures of Aichi, Gifu and Mie. Its aim is to nurture a cooperative and supportive community that exchanges experiences and carries out research in line with Dr Bach's principles. Established in 2012, BFRP Tokai has over 50 members, made up of BFRPs and Level 3 students. The largest gathering is the monthly reading group, and there are study groups for BFRPs and Level 3 students. A number of smaller friendly groups have also formed in individual regions and members regularly study together and informally discuss remedies over lunch.   • "Emotional healing for pets and owners" is a workshop run by Junko Senda BFRP, BFRAP, a BIEP trainer, animal practitioner and member of the Japanese Animal Hospital Association. Open to anybody with a good basic knowledge of the remedies; Level 3 students and BFRPs receive Continuing Education certificates direct from the Bach Centre under the BC-ACE scheme.   • 8 maart: Inspiratie dag: Een dag met aandacht voor de dingen die onszelf bezig houden en de Bach remedies die we daarbij zou kunnen gebruiken, naast ruimte voor de vragen die je hebt, of onderwerpen die je aan bod wilt laten komen.
  • 29 maart: De kunst van het helpen: Een filosofische en praktische dag gericht op het thema helpen waarin we onze eigen ideeën, gevoelens, ervaringen en motieven over helpen onderzoeken en de paradox van het helpen: wie helpt wie en is helpen altijd helpend, onder de loep nemen.
  • 31 Mei: Opfris/verdiepingsdag: een dag om je kennis weer wat op te frissen met een aanbod van allerlei oefeningen over de subtiele verschillen tussen de remedies, hoe kom je tot de kern van het probleem, casuďstiek en ruimte voor eigen vragen. Deze dag kan je ook goed gebruiken om je voor te bereiden op Niveau 3 de consulententraining.
  • 22 t/m 26 mei: Bachreis: Dit is een unieke kans om met elkaar het Bach centrum in Sotwell te bezoeken en de sfeer te proeven van het landschap waar Dr. Bach veel van zijn bloesems heeft gevonden. We bezoeken het Bach Centrum - en Nelsons, waar de remedies worden vervaardigt.

  • Transition. - A workshop looking at the issues and challenges facing those diagnosed with terminal illness, or those approaching the end of their lives. The aim is to offer emotional support and information to carers, relatives and the terminally ill, with the emphasis on using Bach remedies as support and comfort. Ł50.00.
  • Focus on mental well-being. - An exploration of complementary support for the mentally unwell. This will cover nutrition for brain health and a detailed exploration of the stress response and its requirements re nutrition. The use of the Bach Remedies in supporting people living with emotional distress and mental illness will be discussed. This workshop is aimed at those with little practical experience relating to mental health, and at those wishing to develop and share existing knowledge and experience. Ł50.00.

  • "Let's-talk-Bach" group meets in Edinburgh every two months. Anyone who's completed Bach Level 2 or above is very welcome to come and join.   • "Back to Bach" day is a follow-on from the (very enjoyable) "Let's talk Bach" day in 2005 which led to the "Lets talk Bach" group being set up.   • Bach Support Group. - This friendly group of practitioners and non-practitioners meets in Gravesend on the first Wednesday of the month, 7.30-9.30 p.m. Supportive, fun and an excellent way to deepen your knowledge of any aspect of Bach. Text Ann Stringer on 07870 194773 for details.
  • One-to-one tutorials. - If you are unable to get to a group or class this could be the answer. Bach remedy one-to-one tutorials take place in Gravesend at a time and day to suit you. You can choose what you want to focus on, such as applying remedies to particular user groups, eg, children, teenagers, the elderly, working with terminal illness, loss/ bereavement, the body/mind link, how to give a talk to a group, or consultation issues such as being an effective listener, setting and keeping boundaries, keeping case notes, and confidential support with clients.   • A new (in 2015) Bach Friendly Group near Ashford, on the second Wednesday of the month at 7.30pm to 9.30pm.     • 18 June 2016 - SELF-EMPATHY AND COMMUNICATION WITH NVC (Non-Violent Communication). What are our triggers? What feeling spaces do we go into? What are our unmet needs? Exploring which remedies can support us into a more needs-based awareness and communication. How can we communicate effectively in situations of conflict or difficulty? Useful for yourself or helping clients.
    • 20 August 2016 - BEREAVEMENT AND LOSS. We all go through the experience of having to let go of something or someone we love; even a change in our physical/mental health can be experienced as a loss. A day to look at loss in its various forms and the stages we pass through on this journey. Helpful for yourself or working with clients in loss situations.
    • 15 October 2016 - BACH FLOWER REMEDIES FOR SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT. What is spiritual development? How do we grow, change and develop on a journey through life? How can we connect with our deepest self? How can the flowers support us? Looking at some of Dr. Bach’s philosophy too.
