Approved Training
Level 3NOTE: You must attend or book places on Bach Foundation-approved level 1 and level 2 courses before you apply to attend a level 3 course.
Level 3 courses are for practising therapists (e.g. aromatherapists, reflexologists, counsellors, homoeopaths, herbalists, doctors, nurses) who wish to incorporate the remedies into their work as part of their overall healing programme. They are also open to people who are not practising at the moment but intend to set up a practice in the future.
All approved level 3 courses include classroom teaching and private study done in the student's own time. Students have to complete written work that may include an exam, a reflective journal and essays. Finally, students must complete a number of case studies which are assessed by the Foundation or individuals appointed by the Foundation for this purpose.
On satisfactory completion of a level 3 course students have an opportunity to apply for inclusion on the International Register of Practitioners maintained by the Foundation. Anybody who has attended a level 2 course can attend a level 3, but registration and the issue of the accompanying Certificate are discretionary and conditional on your agreeing to work under the Foundation's Code of Practice. The Code represents a commitment to respect the completeness and simplicity of Dr Bach's work. In particular, registered practitioners undertake only to select remedies using the simple consultation methods used by Dr Bach, and to present the 38 remedies as a complete system.
The Foundation's level 3 course is constructed in three parts:
In total the course will take about 6 months to complete.

All BIEP level 3 courses have been developed by A Nelson & Co, whose representatives in different parts of the world administer the courses. The courses follow the same general format as the Foundation's own course, and take about 6 months to complete. For more information on contacting national education offices in Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, France, Ireland, Japan, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Spain, Sweden, the UK, the USA and Venezuela see the official BIEP web site.
The BIEP aims to reach as many countries as possible and is working hard to do that. If your country isn't listed contact your main national distributor to see if there are any plans to offer Bach International Education Programme courses in your country - ask the main world distributor if you don't know who your main national distributor is.
Note that remedy distributors in different parts of the world may offer their own independent courses. These do NOT form part of the BIEP unless they are certificated by the BIEP.
In some areas of the world the Dr Edward Bach Foundation approves courses run by independent teachers or organisations. Independent approved courses take place in different venues, including local colleges and private premises. As with all approved level 3 courses, sucessful completion allows students to apply to joint the International Register maintained by the Dr Edward Bach Foundation.
You can contact the teachers direct to find out what is available.
