Bringing a group to the Centre

Planning on visiting the Centre in the company of six or more friends, family or colleagues?

These are your options!

Informal visits

Easy as anything! No charge, and you are free to look through the public areas of the Centre including the garden and museum rooms – and (from March 2020) the café.

You’ll get to sit in one of Dr Bach’s handmade chairs in his consulting room and if you time it right you will see some of the remedy plants in flower.

You’ll also have time to visit the shop and walk to the village church where Dr Bach is buried.

But please contact us first to let us know when you plan to come and how many people are coming with you – just in case we already have a group visiting that day.

Organised visits

For groups of between six and sixteen people you might want to organise a special event of some kind. The options include:

  • Half-day seminars
  • Bespoke one-day courses
  • Bespoke two-day Level 1 (or Level 2, or Level 3) courses

Half-day seminars

Half-day seminars are organised group visits for between six and sixteen people. You will be at the Centre about two and a half hours – but you are welcome to stay longer to enjoy the garden and look around the area.

A typical half-day seminar includes a 20 minute video on the history of the Centre and an introductory talk on the remedies presented by a Bach Centre expert.

You’ll have an opportunity to ask questions and have access to a set of remedies so you can try making up your own personal mix.

We have welcomed groups from colleges, therapy centres, health food retailers and gardening societies.

Half-day seminars cost £140* per group of up to sixteen people. (Note they are not available to groups of fewer than six.)

Contact us for more information.

*Includes VAT. If you cancel within a week of the planned event we may make a cancellation charge of up to 50% of the cost. If you cancel earlier we will refund in full.

Bespoke one-day courses

If your group wants something longer and more structured we can arrange to have a specialist teacher come to the Centre to run a one-day event just for you.

One-day events can include a basic introduction to Dr Bach’s system – or if your group already know the remedies quite well you might prefer to focus on Dr Bach’s philosophy or on practice issues such as selecting for animals or working with challenging clients.

The exact options available will depend on which teachers are available on the days you want to come. We can also try to find teachers who can run events in other languages.

We will issue a Bach Centre certificate to you if the event has been approved by us under the BC-ACE scheme; other events may be certificated by the trainer.

The cost of a one-day event comprises two elements:

  1. The Bach Centre will charge your group £180* to book the Mount Vernon training rooms and support services.
  2. The teacher will charge you a teaching fee.**

The total cost will depend in part on the teacher’s costs, travel times etc. But we anticipate that a group of sixteen would end up paying between £40 and £90 per person in 95% of cases. Smaller groups will pay more per person; the minimum group size is six.

For more information email us a list of day(s) when your group would like to come to the Centre and an idea of what topics might be of interest we’ll take it from there.

*The Bach Centre fee includes VAT. It does not include accommodation and meals. If you cancel an agreed booking less than four weeks before the start date will not refund the Centre fee. If you cancel earlier we will deduct an administration fee of £120.

**You will pay the teacher’s fee direct to the teacher. The teacher’s own standard terms including his or her own cancellation policy will apply.

Bespoke two-day Level 1 courses

Another option is to request a two-day Level 1 course especially for your group.

What is a Level 1 course?

The cost for a bespoke Level 1 at Mount Vernon for between six and sixteen students is £1,810. A Level 1 certificate from the Bach Centre will also be included. All teaching and premises fees are included.

A group of sixteen students could, therefore, take the course for around half the price of a scheduled Level 1. Plus you get to choose when you come!

For more information email us a list of day(s) when your group would like to come to the Centre and we’ll take it from there.

*Accommodation and meals not included. If you cancel an agreed booking less than four weeks before the start date no refund will be made. If you cancel earlier we will deduct an administration fee of £120 from any refund.

We can also offer bespoke Level 2 and Level 3 courses – contact us for information
