UK news: COREP and the Bach Centre

Early in 2013 the Bach Centre and the BFVEA came together to form COREP, the Confederation of Registered Essence Practitioners.

COREP is a Lead Body, formed under UK government guidelines. It aims to set professional standards that apply to everyone working in the UK with any kind of essence, including the 38 remedies in Dr Bach's system.

All active UK BFRPs (Bach Foundation Registered Practitioners) are automatically members of COREP, as are practitioner members of the BFVEA.

A month after its formation COREP was admitted to membership by the General Regulatory Council for Complementary Therapies (the GRCCT).

This means that voluntary independent regulation is available, via COREP and the GRCCT, to any UK BFRP who desires it.

Voluntary regulation is the UK government's preferred route towards regulating the practice of complementary therapists.
